Volunteer

Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) LOVES its volunteers, without whom many of our programming, special events and other services would not be possible. There are many different ways to volunteer. To get started, please download the
volunteer application form, and return it by fax, mail or email to Kim Keely.  kkeely@CancerSupportTexas.org

Volunteer opportunities at CSCNT include, but are not limited to:

In the Clubhouse:

Be a Clubhouse host/hostess
Be a Noogieland volunteer
Volunteer with own camera equipment to document special events
Assist with mailings and outreach packets
Provide general office assistance, including filing and organizing
Assist with social events, including decorations and cooking
Share your hobbies, skills, and professional expertise by organizing a workshop or lecture for CSCNT members and/or Noogieland members

 

Outside the Clubhouse:

Find and cultivate prospective donors in coordination with the Development team
Join a special events committee
Assist with set up and clean up of special events, including registration, welcoming, and host/hostess duties
Assist with auctions
Recruit in-kind donations
Make photo albums and scrapbooks
Research community connections and possible partnerships in coordination with CSCNT staff
